iHTML UNIX 2.17 supports FreeBSD, Linux (Slackware and Redhat) and Solaris running on both Apache and Netscape web servers. The code is cross-platform capable; iHTML-based sites and systems developed for Windows NT will work on the UNIX platform when the iHTML engine is installed. mySQL is the default database engine, but Sybase and Oracle ones can also be used, as well as Microsoft SQL server
running on NT through the UNIX ODBC drivers and manager.
Included with the iHTML UNIX 2.17 Professional edition is the popular iHTML Merchant system, an affordable, turn-key software solution for small and medium sized companies interested in Web commerce. The system is capable of handling multiple storefronts on a single server. Featuring a browser-based administration system, simple banner ad management, five different credit card-processing options and the ability to handle complex shipping and tax calculations, the iHTML Merchant provides customers with the quickest and easiest way to get fully customized, high-end stores online. Over 1700 stores on the Internet use the iHTML Merchant system. The demonstration store can be previewed at http://merchant.inline.net.
